logisticaHQ is P4 Software’s cloud WMS, the product of three decades operating warehouses in more than 20 countries. Real-time inventory, RF barcode scanning, multi-warehouse and 3PL control, built for distribution, pharma and cold chain across Panama and Latin America.
A WMS keeps track of everything that happens inside the warehouse: what arrives, where it is stored, what ships and who moved it. logisticaHQ records every receipt, putaway, pick and dispatch with a scan, so the system’s inventory matches what is on the racks. It is P4 Software’s answer for companies looking for a cloud WMS in Panama and across Latin America, from an in-house distribution center to a 3PL operator in the Colón Free Trade Zone.
The platform is cloud-native, with a 99.9% uptime SLA, a bilingual English/Spanish interface, and SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications. Operators work across multiple locations from one login, while each warehouse and each 3PL client keeps its own inventory and permissions.

Key capabilities
Real-time inventory across multiple warehouses
every movement is recorded by scan as it happens. Transfers between warehouses keep a full audit trail, and cycle counting uses intelligent location selection.
AI-powered slotting & wave planning
slotting analyzes picking history to place fast-moving SKUs in easy-to-reach locations. logisticaHQ issues quarterly re-slotting recommendations, and clients report 15-25% travel time reduction in typical deployments.
Mobile RF picking on Zebra Validated devices
the mobile app runs on Android and iOS RF handhelds for receiving, putaway, picking, cycle counts and transfers, with barcode scanning.
Lot, serial, and expiry tracking (FEFO/FIFO)
picking applies FEFO (First Expiry First Out) by default, and every unit keeps its lot, serial number and expiry date from receiving through dispatch.
Cold-chain and temperature-zone operations
putaway rules take temperature zone, ABC class and SKU attributes into account, so each pallet lands in the zone it belongs to.
True multi-tenant for 3PL operators
each client has isolated inventory, users, rules and reports, with automated transaction billing (receipts, picks, m³ storage).
Native SAP Business One integration
a certified, real-time, bidirectional integration for items, stock, goods receipts and issues, and transfers. logisticaHQ also integrates natively with CifraHQ.
REST API with OAuth 2.0
for other ERPs and e-commerce platforms, the documented REST API lets you or your clients connect systems directly to the warehouse.
Receiving, ASN and cross-docking
purchase order matching with quantity and lot validation, ASN (Advance Shipping Notice) processing, and cross-docking for flow-through operations.
Picking, packing and labeling
wave, batch, zone and discrete picking, optimized pick paths with AI-recommended routing, packing with weight and dimension capture, and label and shipping-document generation.
WMS for the Colón Free Trade Zone
Duty-suspended inventory, re-exports and customs filings in one operation.
The Colón Free Trade Zone (Zona Libre de Colón, ZLC) runs on its own model: import in volume, store under a special regime, and re-export by order to Latin America and the Caribbean. Goods that enter the zone are suspended from import duties and taxes while they remain under the regime. A WMS for the free zone in Colón therefore has to keep free-zone inventory separate from nationalized inventory, in both the books and the paperwork, even when the two share the same building.
The hard case is partial nationalization. When a local buyer purchases part of a lot, the system has to split it, record the trail for the nationalized portion with its taxes, and keep the rest under the suspended regime. On re-exports, every shipment carries its own documents (waybill, commercial invoice, package detail), and the periodic reports to the Free Zone administration come from the same scan records instead of being assembled at month end.
Panama’s Autoridad Nacional de Aduanas (ANA) manages the declarations for goods entering and leaving the regime, and what the warehouse records as shipped has to match what was declared. logisticaHQ and aduanasHQ, P4 Software’s customs software, share the data for each movement, so dispatch documents come from what actually happened in the warehouse. FacturaHQ completes the flow with e-invoicing and ITBMS (Panama’s VAT equivalent) treatment based on where each sale goes: inside the zone, re-export, or Panama’s taxable territory.
Much of the ZLC’s operation is run by logistics operators storing and shipping for several brands. For them, a 3PL WMS in Latin America needs per-client isolation and transaction billing that replaces the monthly Excel settlement. 3PL operators running logisticaHQ report 80% faster invoicing versus spreadsheet-based billing. The details are on the 3PL WMS page, and requirements for other free zones in the region, such as Panama Pacifico, ZOFRI in Chile and the Colombian free zones, are on the free trade zone software page.
Cold chain and pharmaceutical
In cold chain and pharmaceutical distribution, every pallet has a temperature zone, an expiry date and a compliance trail. logisticaHQ combines temperature zones, lot and expiry control with FEFO as default, and scan-validated workflows, with ANVISA, INVIMA and FDA-aligned documentation.
In Panama, refrigerated 3PL FrigoService runs at 98% inventory accuracy and 100% temperature compliance. Panama Cold, a medical cold-chain 3PL in Panama City, grew its managed storage capacity 2.5x while holding 99.8% order accuracy. Alpha Mediq runs its medical supply logistics on logisticaHQ integrated with SAP Business One.
Case study: Colón Container Terminal
Colón Container Terminal (CCT) operates at the Atlantic mouth of the Panama Canal, handling logistics for clients including Evergreen Marine Corp. It is a high-volume environment with customs scrutiny and zero tolerance for inventory error. CCT runs logisticaHQ with scan-validated receiving and dispatch on Zebra MC9400 mobile computers, on-demand labeling with Zebra ZT411 industrial printers, and a documentary trail built for fiscal and customs compliance.
The results: 99.8% inventory accuracy, 50% faster dispatch time, and zero audit failures.

Cloud WMS FAQ
Does logisticaHQ integrate with SAP Business One?
Yes. logisticaHQ has a certified native integration with SAP Business One for items, stock, goods receipts/issues, and transfers. The integration is real-time and bidirectional, so SAP stays in sync with warehouse activity as it happens. For other ERPs, a REST API with OAuth 2.0 is available.
Can logisticaHQ run a warehouse in the Colón Free Trade Zone?
Yes. logisticaHQ handles physical inventory and dispatch, with free-zone inventory kept separate from nationalized stock, and shares each movement with aduanasHQ for customs filings. FacturaHQ issues the e-invoice with the ITBMS treatment that matches the destination of the sale.
Can a 3PL operator run several clients in the same warehouse?
Yes. Each client is modeled as a tenant with separate inventory, permissions, and billing. Operators work across multiple locations from one login, and billing is calculated per transaction: receipts, picks, and m³ storage.
Is logisticaHQ suitable for pharmaceutical or cold-chain distribution?
Yes. logisticaHQ includes full lot tracking, serial control, expiry date management (FEFO/FIFO), temperature-zone support, and ANVISA/INVIMA/FDA-aligned documentation. It is already deployed at pharmaceutical distributors and cold-storage operators across Latin America.
Can logisticaHQ run on mobile RF devices?
Yes. The mobile app runs on Android and iOS RF handheld devices (Zebra Validated), supporting receiving, putaway, picking, cycle counts, and transfers with real-time barcode scanning.
How long does a 3PL implementation take?
Client onboarding typically completes in 1 to 2 weeks. Go-live for a full 3PL operation typically happens in under 90 days.
